Not that this book doesn't have topical heft to it. Ali-Karamali's narration of her book was perfect for listening to on my commute. Studies show that between 1.5 and 1.8 billion people in the world identify their religion as Islam. Some (as mentioned earlier) are perforated while some are smooth and elastic. Many un-Islamic customs and practices are prevalent in our society, particularly in marriages etc. Some contemporary voices speak out fully against abortion, arguing that Islam is granted strength through multitudes of children.
